| Job Description : | Key Responsibilities: Cargo Verification: Board vessels to check cargo manifests/stowage plans and precisely count the quantity, weight, and condition of goods being loaded or unloaded. Damage Inspection: Reject and report cargo in unsound or damaged condition (rusted, torn, wet). Discrepancy Reporting: Reconcile physical tallies with shipping orders to identify shortages or overages, generating real-time discrepancy reports. Documentation: Input tallies into Port/Terminal Management Systems and update daily logs. Coordination: Liaise with stevedores, ship masters, truck drivers, and Wharf Foremen to ensure a steady flow of goods. |
